Almost there
First off I must dump on the venu (Grey Eagle Casino) for having a 'no re-entry' policy but not having a coat check. They did have a bag check but would not take coats so I had to carry my leather jacket around all night or carefully place it on the floor and watch it while I danced.
The show itself was pretty good although the first couple DJ's obviously were not dancers as they wouldn't stick to a solid rift for more then about 20 seconds before chopping it up. It was like they were more interested in trying to show off how many different sounds they could make. Plus IMHO, DJ's should never be given a microphone. Nobody needs to be told to "put your hands up!"....just shut the hell up and stick to playing the music.
The headliner (Zed's Dead) were great but the undercard 'Rezz' was amazing.
All the DJ's did a great job of providing music but the sound people did a lousy job, there was wayyyyy too much distortion. I get the impression they didn't do a proper sound check because there really isn't any excuse for screwing up music that is %100 created my computers (ie: no instruments)
Overall I had a good time but yes it could have (and should have) been better
